It was a pretty uneventful birthday for me around here. I actually had to remind my husband it was my day today. I've been needing a new driver's side headlight for about a week now, o.k.? Well, when SuperDad returned home from work at 11 a.m., I couldn't stand it anymore. I was going to go all day if I had to, to see who would remember my birthday without my prompting. I couldn't do it, so I asked him if he got me a new headlight for my birthday. He had the look in his eyes husbands on tv so often do, when they've been caught forgetting something very important. Know what he says? "Is that today?" Lucky for him, I had already received my camera for my birthday and Christmas present. It could have been so much worse. :)
A friend of mine teaches SuperGirl dance and offered to keep both kiddos for a couple of hours for me this evening as a birthday present. Boy, was that overdue. I don't believe we've had a "date" since late April of 04, shortly before SuperBoy's arrival. This hardly wualified as a date, but, hey! I'll take what quiet time I can get.
Hope you've had a blessed day where you are!

Happy Birthday! I hope you enjoyed your date and some time to yourself. Shame on hubby. He should be trying to make it up to you for at least a year.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY my dear. I think that if I didn't plan my birthday celebrations ... they'd never happen ;-)
Happy Birthday Jenny! I would've sent you a virtual cake...hey! it counts. :D
Enjoy your quiet time-maybe buy a bottle of wine and snuggle with your sweetie.
Oh I'm late...darn it...
Happy Belated Birthday!!!
Hugs,
Robin
Oh you poor thing! The Big Guy just had his birthday and I also forgot. He was able to hold it in until around lunch time when he got a text message Birthday Greeting. I had that same horrified look on my face when he flashed his phone screen in front of me......oh the shame!
Happy Belated Birthday :)
Happy belated birthday!
I'm afraid both Henry and I have on occasion forgotten each other's birthday. :(
This year however I'm planning a BIG party to celebrate his last year as a youngish man.(Shhh. IT'S A SURPRISE.)
He'll be 49 in a few weeks!
Rosa
